From Taboo to Treatment

Join a panel of clinical trial researchers at 6:30pm on the 28th of April for a focused discussion on the new frontiers of psychedelic therapy, examining the latest evidence from ongoing studies, including forthcoming updates of the upcoming SWV PTSD trial in Cambridge, and exploring why recent research suggests microdosing may not be a good idea after all.

Moderated by journalist Tim Hayward the panel includes:

Dr Liliana Galindo MD PhD a consultant psychiatrist and the founder and principal investigator of the Cambridge Psychedelic Research Group.

Dr Guy Goodwin the Chief Medical Officer at Compass Pathways and an internationally respected psychiatrist with a distinguished academic career, including his previous role as Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford.

Liam Modlin the Director for Clinical Care Research and Training at Compass Pathways. Previously he was one of the investigators on SWV’s first MDMA-assisted therapy trial.

Professor Eric Vermetten  Professor of Psychiatry at Leiden University Medical Center and a globally recognised authority on PTSD, moral injury, and complex trauma. 

Eduardo Schenberg A neuroscientist with 15 years experience studying psychedelics. He currently chairs the Independent Psychedelic Evidence Assessment Working Group as a researcher at the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Lisbon.
