We are delighted to announce that Joely Richardson, after reading so beautifully for the charity at our Carol Concert last year, is presenting our BBC Lifeline appeal film, set to air this Sunday, 29th June at 2.05pm on BBC1.
If you can’t wait until then to support the charity, our Lifeline appeal page runs online from today until 20th July at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002fcm6, and includes interviews with three veterans who the charity has supported.
The appeal will help raise vital funds for the charity, who helps those veterans seeking support after they leave service, often with physical and psychological wounds, find meaningful occupation or employment.
Thank you to the BBC for producing the film on the charity’s behalf, and to the Big Yellow Self Storage Company who, via their Foundation, is match funding the first £10,000 raised by the appeal!
So watch the film this Sunday, and go to our appeal page to support what you can.
Thank you!
